The State Park is only a few miles from the cabins. Less than a 10 minute drive down a country road. The park offers great hike and bike trails with some of the most scenic trails in Texas. There is also a public boat ramp and bank/wade fishing access on the Colorado River. This allows you to fish some of the best white bass and catfish areas in the state. Make sure to call ahead and make reservations for hiking.
